The Louvre Museum

Discovering Western Art in the Musée d'orsay
Located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, the Musée d'orsay was inaugurated in 1986. Collections of Western Art from 1848 to 1914 await you and you will discover them on various artistic supports: sculpture, painting, architecture, photography, decorative arts… Renowned works such as Monet's Rouen Cathedral series and the origin of the world of Courbet as well as the prestigious lunch on the grass are also exhibited. The George Pompidou Centre
This is one of the most visited sites in Paris. It was in 1969 that President Georges Pompidou decided to allocate the plateau Beaubourg to the construction of a polycultural centre which currently retains important collections of modern and contemporary art from all over the world. Temporary exhibitions are also held in this museum. They often focus on cultural subjects or devote themselves to renowned artists such as Picasso, Pierre Soulage and Julio Gibson. Since its inauguration in 1977, the centre Pompidou has been successful and is quickly becoming one of the most frequented places in the world.
The Museum of the Pier Branly – Jacques-Chirac
Located a few metres from the Eiffel Tower, on the banks of the river Seine, this museum is one of the largest museums in Paris and it brings together works of art from Africa, America, Asia and Oceania. With its very atypical architecture, it stands out by the many buildings that make it. It is in the museum bridge that the exhibits take place, but you can also make a detour in the university building and its bookstore. Your visit can end in the garden of the museum.
